Further clarification from my IACSD/SAAD & DSTG source confirming that
"I am ahead of the curve"!
From me:
The re-setting of the minimum standards will now mean that as of 25th April 2016, you may now choose to engage your own local Inhalation Sedation mentor, experienced in the technique,able to guide you and answer all of your questions, to oversee your first 10 cases.
If you so wish, you now also choose to attend only the theory and practical demonstrations on day 1 of the 3 day course to help get you started.
NB: This one-day course alone WILL NOT make you competent to undertake independent sedation practice. You should check this detail with your indemnity provider.
